Mid-South Fly Fishers
Education - Conservation - Fellowship
Join us Saturday, May 2, 2026 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. for our Club Picnic. Bring the whole family for a morning of fly fishing followed by lunch. We have exclusive access to a private lake that is loaded with bass and bream. The event is free and open to members and non-members. For those new to the sport, no experience or gear is needed. We'll have fly rods for use if you don't have one. Club members will offer instruction on basic casting. There is no charge, but please register so we can provide food and beverages. Please Register

Taught by Johnny Jackson, this 5 session class is targeted for beginning or novice tiers or anyone who wants to work on foundational tying skills working with various materials and hook designs. Over the course we will tie midges, sowbugs, scuds, caddis nymphs, hairs ears, frenchies, worms, and more.

Mission Statement The mission and purpose of the Mid-South Fly Fishers is to improve and increase the sport of fly fishing in the Mid-South; to encourage and advocate conservation in the waters of the Mid-South; to encourage and assist others to become fly fishers; to promote the pleasure and fellowship of its members; and to engage in such activities as may be necessary and expedient for the achievement of the above stated purposes.
