Ryan Gary is a Fisheries Biologist for the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission, where he focuses on the monitoring and management of Arkansas's trout waters. Originally from Baltimore, MD he grew up fishing and hunting in the Appalachian Mountains and the Chesapeake Bay and has since earned a bachelor’s and a master's degree in fisheries science from Louisiana State University and Oklahoma State University. Additionally, Ryan has worked for several state and federal fish and wildlife agencies across the country including NOAA, Idaho Fish and Game, North Carolina Division of Marine Fisheries and in his home state with Maryland DNR. Now as resident of North Arkansas he spends most of his time studying and fishing for trout in the tailwaters throughout the state.
